Who We Are...
Revolution Ministries
BASICS:
We are a group of ordinary Christians who want to offer God's love to his people. RM offers opportunities for the body of Christ to grow as well as offering the lost and hurt a non-traditional place to find Jesus. Out of a call to see lives saved, the Templins started to reach teens through the Open Door Youth Center in 2007. After a prompting from the Lord to offer a new program, we birthed Revolution Youth Ministries in January of 2009. Throughout the years many lives were touched but we noticed a need to reach more than teens, families. In 2010, we expanded the ministry to offer opportunities for families to grow as well as youth adopting the head name Revolution Ministries. RYM will continue to offer activities for youth to grow physically as well as spiritually. Our focus is to bring together the community offering fellowship and activities that will allow people to grow physically and spiritually. We believe that people grow through relationships and Godly examples. Through these times of interaction we seek to impact lives by encouraging one another to use our God given talents for His glory and honor.

Good Day to All!
Kristen and I have been married for over 13 years. We are the proud parents of Evan, Bryce, and Grace. I also have a son, Austin, who will be entering his freshman year at Shippensburg this fall. He too is a blessing from God. Our family also has two goats, eight chickens, four hermit crabs, a toad, and one cat.
I am a high school chemistry teacher. I have been teaching for seven plus years. I am also the advisor for a Christian youth club at school. The only other thing that gets me up as early as teaching is fishing. I also enjoy playing soccer, basketball, and just about any other game. My newest passion is roasting coffee. I started roasting this past February. I am starting a business, Cup of Change, in hopes of helping others both the various communities of coffee growers from whom I purchase coffee beans and our local community here through Revolution Ministries.
I was born again on September 10, 2000. Praise God for that wonderful day. I am not sure where I would be today if not for Him! I have been working with youth since 2007. I started as a voulunteer at the Open Door Youth Center hanging out with the kids, teaching Bible lessons, and many behind the scenes jobs. In 2009, Kristen and I began Revolution Youth Ministries. We continued to reach to older youth until God said to take a break and review what we were doing. During this season, we realized that we were being called to work with junior youth and families in the community. We are in the process of changing the name to Revolution Ministries where RYM will be a major part of what is happening.
In parting, remember God is good all the time. He does not promise to remove trouble from our paths but He does give us the Way through them.
Many Blessings,
Stan
